Here is a sneak peek at a new body of work titled Views from 30,000
After recently experiencing countless overseas flights I began this project, Views From 30,000. While most flight attendants will instruct you to close your window shade and passengers attempt to sleep, I question how anyone could take this view for granted. I get the chills every time we fly into a sunrise and gaze in awe. While skipping time and going back in time, I began to wonder what is the speed you need to be traveling to be suspended in a sunrise. Time would appear to stand still, yet the Earth would continue to age. That number, according to NASA, is 1,070/mph at the equator.
