Want to Steal a Banksy?

Great concept-  Australia’s Art Series Hotels is putting up a Banksy and encourages guests to find it and steal it.

Hans Brinker Budget Hotel in Amsterdam branded themselves as the world’s worst hotel, while also publishing a book about it. Some people may say this is advertising in reverse, but I’m not so harsh to judge.  This is fresh- a hotel campaign apologizing for its mishaps in a conventional, honest, and well designed way.  A sort of “C’est la vie” feel, if you will.  I think its similar to the “Ed Debevics” of Chicago.  It’s so bad and alarming, therefore it makes for a story to tell and good entertainment.  Their agency Kesselskramer Amsterdam knows very well what their doing.  I had no knowledge of hotels in Amsterdam, yet now I know this one and I have an urge to check it out.
