My featured interview and photo story for We Are Handsome’s “Handsome Project” is live! Please check it out here: http://bit.ly/KIKLSw
I had the opportunity to work with Australian swimwear designer, We Are Handsome, and it was such a pleasure. After finding them through Nylon, I was immediately inspired by their unique, retro-looking swimwear designs. I applied to be apart of their Handsome Project, and fast-forward 8 months later, here is the product. I had a blast working on this shoot with a fantastic and passionate crew, despite the many challenges of photographing swimwear in Chicago’s April. I can’t wait to see more from these talented designers of OZ!

Well I’m excited.
I was recently assigned this portrait of designers of A Frames eyewear for Chicago Social. A Frames donates 5% of revenue to support Helen Keller International. Founder Wes Stoody and his partners Jay Parkin and Maggie Stoody were inspired to combat Vitamin A deficiency by creating this fashionable prescription eyewear and sunglasses collection. This project was very self-rewarding as it made me step back and rethink what can I do to benefit the greater good. How can I give back to the community?

Despite all odds on Sunday, my crew prevailed. I need to thank Misha Geno, Jenna Baltes, Ashton Hansen, Stephanie Graham, and the amazing talent, Megan Lewis, for their hard work and resilience after horrible weather, getting kicked out of location A, and still being cheerful all the way thru. You will have to wait and see if there’s still some gems from the shoot.
Feeling creatively refreshed after a lovely week long trip to Costa Rica for friend’s nuptials and some R&R.

One of my favorites, which they didn’t use.
TimeOut Chicago recently had me photograph lingerie designer Norma Loehr of Orange Lingerie, while incorporating her beautifully intricate garments. She creates custom lingerie to cater to your unique body curves- aka: the bra whisperer. She was amazing to say the least. We immediately got along so well, chatting about her Thomas Rusch prints, excellent taste in furniture, feelings towards Project Runway All-Stars, and of course, boobs. Find out more information on her site at http://www.orange-lingerie.com/ and schedule your custom fitting!
